Just adding my newbie info into the fray here. Just accepted a little bit ago via voicemail. There was also mention of a scholarship! Held from EA 169/3.7, no LOCI after being held, OOS. So more admits are on the way I suppose!

Hmm I got in via voicemail last week with similar numbers and there was no mention of scholarship in the voice mail. Kinda concerns me. Did she just say you have a scholarship coming, too, or something?

strange indeed. wonder if you'll get an email tomorrow? sorry to hear it, but i'm sure there's plenty of great schools that won't make the same mistake.

I checked my application status this morning and, not too surprisingly, was denied admission. However, I noticed something strange...

Today is February 2.

They appear to run the denial e-mail messages in electronic batches, so yours will probably show up at 5:00am or so tomorrow (as mine did this morning).

My favorite part of it was the disclaimer beneath the signature line:

She said that scholarship info would be on the way in 1-2 weeks but nothing like a concrete number.

Just got the call....saw a 512 number in the middle of a crowded lecture hall and couldn't get out to answer :S Pain at its worst. The vmail said scholarship info will come in 2-3 weeks!

Thanks! None of this has sunk in yet, to be honest...I never in a million years dreamed I'd get into ONE of these schools, let alone the number I'm at now. I have some big decisions to make, most of which will probably end up involving whoever is throwing money around.

I'm an idiot. I didn't bother to read past the first line this morning and the first line sounds like a rejection.

I can verify - they have started sending out RD rejections. I got mine yesterday. Not surprising, but I was really reaching for UT. Georgia is looking better and better everyday now.
