LIES!!!!! I refuse to believe admissions offices run with anything less than top-notch, state-of-the-art Swiss watch-like accuracy and punctualityNobody wrote:When you're comparing dates, it's important to remember, I think, that it's not like admissions office are hyper-efficient machines. Just because two files come into the office on the same day doesn't mean they perfectly follow the same route. It could have sat on someone's desk for a while. Someone could have been sick. It might have been printed out later than someone else's. Just because law school admissions are ultimately more predictable than undergrad doesn't mean there isn't still a human element to it.

I got in this morning as well! has a heart attack when i saw the email and couldn't see "congrats!" or "admitted~" in the subject line. Then my email logged me out and I had problems logging back on. Feels great to hear back from the school I would like to go the most first

Dunno. Haven't some people reported acceptances without any updates? While others had 2-3?smokeylarue wrote:I've gotten complete updates at 11/21 and now 11/29. Still no email or anything though. What do the updates mean???

Me too. I submitted in September, went complete in September, had one update on 11/8, am above both 75ths, and had really good/specific/personal reasons for Why Cornell. Really worried I'm going to get waitlisted.

Do they ever send out emails over the course of a few days, or are those of us who haven't heard waiting another week or more?

Yes let's hope for a late email. In the meantime I'm going to go make a sacrifice to the admissions gods.MiamiOxford wrote: Minnbills your numbers are better than mine lol I think you will be fine... Let's hope for emails later today?

so, do they send all accept emails at the same time? as in, if you haven't got one this morning, you won't get one today. or are they typically staggered throughout a day?

Re: Cornell c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
I wondered this as well. My checker changed the second time to today's date, so I'm guessing that I won't get an email today. If they checked it out, they would have sent the email already I figure.lrslayer wrote:so, do they send all accept emails at the same time? as in, if you haven't got one this morning, you won't get one today. or are they typically staggered throughout a day?

Sounds like they're just trying to figure out how much money to throw at you. You'll be fine. Good luck!msblaw89 wrote:Me too... I don't think that's possible...
