I'm in the same boat. I think it will be to the committee review for me (at best). My numbers are just not that great I was/am hoping my softs pull it out...

That being said for some one interested in PI who really likes Berkeley should I sit out if I don't get in and retake the lsat or should I take money elsewhere? I'm really interested in work as a public defender.

I'm 170/3.8 and really have no idea about what this means for my chances - LSN isn't that helpful when it comes to boalt, everything is kind of like a black box.

Can a 1L talk about the academic culture at Berkeley? Cooperative? Competitive? What is expected out of the students as far as 1L exams? Thanks for your help!

It varies a lot. For me it was about a week or so (but I was a 11/22er). I'm guessing most of the 12/12 folks won't be hearing until after the holidays, so don't worry too much about it at this point. Just enjoy your holidays!

10/27 people were hearing back as late as last week. There doesn't seem to be much of a pattern, some 11/22ers heard in a week, some (like myself) are still waiting. At this point I doubt anyone hears until January.
