Status changed to decision mailed today, and I later received two emails regarding California Bar Association minority scholarships. The weird thing is I'm a white male, so I don't think I really qualify for a minority scholarships. Odd.

+1 (white female though) and now on my status checker it also has amounts for deposit deadlines:

1st Deposit: 5/20/2011 200.00 .00
2nd Deposit: 6/1/2011 500.00 .00

Does that mean I'm in? I think I remember ppl talking about this earlier in the thread.

They said all decisions would likely be made by the end of this month. That only leaves a few days...

Yeah that's what the last e-mail said, but the first e-mail I got in December said the process could last through May. I Have been in committee since 1/27 so I am not exactly holding my breath at the moment...

Got my envelope today. $4500 grant for Santa Clara vs. $23K for USD? Hmm....

Withdrawing SCU, hope someone get my spot and $$ (to be distributed evenly over the three years). -__-

I called SCU and they told me that there is no end to this cycle. They said that it can go on as long as they need it to.

I found out by snail mail, although there were e-mail hints (scholarship applications, log in info, etc.)

I got off the waitlist at Oregon the same day I heard from SCU, so I think I'll be headed to Eugene. I'll probably still go visit Santa Clara before deciding.
