Is the thought process that you're taking on a bunch of debt to go to law school, getting a better/more expensive apartment is only gonna make the debt situation marginally worse? If so, I understand completely.

Haha sort of. I'm in-state at UT and have a decent chance at a scholarship, therefore making UT by far the best school that will be cheap for me. So I feel like an apartment upgrade will be a sound investment. I live in a crappy crappy bug infested apartment right now that is waaay too far North. Ugh.

Got in yesterday with a call from Sam Riley. Very excited for my number one choice. In-State 171/3.5. Good luck to everyone else!!

I wish there was a pattern to these phone calls!

It doesn't seem like it though. I've seen super high stats, avg. stats, in-state, OOS, held/not held. What the heck UT? Show me some love por favor.

I know. I've been trying to make sense of it but I can't. There isn't even a pattern of when the people have submitted/completed their apps.

Thanks almost number-twin! Honestly, I really want to go tour UT, etc...and I am really hoping to get a decision soon. For right now I have quite a few safeties that I'm lingering at and I want to make space for other people (I know it doesn't quite work that way, but I still feel like I do a good deed when I withdraw)

Calling people to tell them they're accepted must be the best thing in the world...I bet it takes some of the pain out of having to reject so many people...
