V, v frustrating. I'm in the same boat; however, trying to remember that at this point a hold is better than either a waitlist or reject...even if its not quite what you and I want.SixStrings11 wrote:Still on hold.

It's been 3.5 weeks since my acceptance and I still haven't received any scholarship info. I was hoping for just a little $. Could anyone out there share how long it took to receive money and how you were notified?

Re: FSU c/o2014 Applicants!
I doubt you'll receive anything. Since FSU is a public state school they have limited scholarship money and don't hand out nearly as much money as private schools. However you can just view the cheaper in-state tuition as a scholarship. I think the only people that likely receive money are people above both medians who applied early.Rivers711 wrote:It's been 3.5 weeks since my acceptance and I still haven't received any scholarship info. I got accepted back in November. It took two months to get my scholarship offer which came via email.Rivers711 wrote:It's been 3.5 weeks since my acceptance and I still haven't received any scholarship info. I know some people got theirs via snail mail. I was given mine at the Academic Scholars Day (about 2 weeks after my acceptance).Rivers711 wrote:It's been 3.5 weeks since my acceptance and I still haven't received any scholarship info. wondering if anyone has any input..my application status is still "application complete" as of 1/3. Isn't the seat deposit due April 1? I would imagine they would act on my application soon.....bad sign?

The seat deposits are due, but you could be WL'd. I'm not sure how FSU handles their WL, check last years topic for good information.Stardaze22 wrote: wondering if anyone has any input..my application status is still "application complete" as of 1/3. I'm not sure on this one. I'd assume they'd look at your app soon. They say they review based on "strength of application", which I'm assuming for FSU is purely a numbers deal. This has been true for pretty much everyone I know irl and on here. I know I'm in the "HOLD" status with LSAT below median and gpa above their 75%.Stardaze22 wrote:alicrimson wrote:V, v frustrating. I didn't hear about that though if that were true I'd be sitting real high and probably accepted already...but that hasn't happened. haha. I didn't hear that; however, they do take degree granting, provided you transferred from community college. I called and was told transfers from one four year to another are judged on their cum.Stardaze22 wrote:does FSU really take your major gpa if it is higher than cum.?

Re: FSU c/o2014 Applicants!
I was held with a 160 LSAT, 3.0 LSDAS GPA, 3.4 cumulative GPA, and 3.7 major GPA. Seems like my numbers would be auto-reject, so maybe there is some truth to FSU taking degree GPA.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
