What's your submit date?

11/1 - but actually I think I got schools confused. Looking at LSN, and it appears if I'm admitted I'll be in either the first or second batch (last year's 12/1 and 12/7 batches)

yeah, i am a reapplicant and i just checked my acceptance letter from last year and it was postmarked 12/1. i had a submit date near yours too

... If this is their admittance package, I refuse to accept. I maintain that is quite rude to mail birds of any sort via envelope.

Can you imagine what'll happen if an NYU-hopeful receives a purple envelope with anything but NYU admission? Sad panda. Even if the envelope is full of...photorealistic birds.

If I do get an admit some wonderful day, I promise to borrow my neighbor's cat and take a picture with it and the envelope. Just for you guys.

The fun part is that from my LSN stalking, the 12/1 groups and 12/7 groups are the same, because most people got their letters on 12/7, and some people chose to report it as being accepted then whereas others just posted 12/1 because that's when the letter was postmarked.

bummer.. a lot of people on LSN last year who sent their apps in when I did this year were already complete by now...mine's still processing. (sent 11/21) =(

Just to verify, the envelope was postmarked 12/1, correct? Just making sure that the letter isn't dated 12/1 and postmarked later, so that I can justify compulsively checking the mail today.

I wouldn't worry too much. I submitted 11/17, and went complete, then UR earlier this week. Guessing you should go complete (and then under review shortly thereafter) any day now.

I believe the letter was dated 12/1, post marked 12/3, and then recieved on 12/5.
