+1.

Best case scenario is we'll hear something by late March or early April, I'm guessing?

from what i've heard, chicago is seriously backed-up. i would hate to wait until april to hear from them.

Since we likely wont hear back from everywhere until early-mid April, and possibly later for FinAid info, how do you guys plan on handling the seat deposit situation. $250-750 is a lot of scratch

Oh my god, I'm shaking right now. I just got a call from Virginia Law and I am IN! They called me to tell me how much they liked my essay.

They said my admission is contingent on keeping above a 3.85 GPA, but since my GPA is 3.91 right now, I would have to really screw up.

Whew okay I'm gonna go blast DragonForce and dance for a while.

Congrats! I haven't heard of a school making an admission contingent on keeping your UGPA at a certain level, is this more common practice than I think?

I am not sure of how common it is, but I have heard of UVA doing this in the past.

The practice isn't out of the ordinary, though the way they told you might be. Even undergrad admissions reserve the right to revoke your acceptance should your grades fall.

tbh the guy I talked to said basically "Well, you have to keep your UGPA above 3.85, but if you do something horrible and screw up, just don't send LSAC your updated transcript and it won't matter." :D
hahaha that's awesome.

What do you guys think is worse, waiting for admission decisions, or following into a volcano?
