I signed up for the latest JS1 possible when I got my email, but in hindsight maybe that was a stupid idea since the admission is rolling... My interview won't be until later this week.... would that make a difference at all? or not really? This is probably a pointless thought since I'm not gonna change the interview date anyways since I don't want to appear fickle minded... although perhaps I am.......

Can anyone recall the last time someone reported a JS1? I don't believe there were any last week, March 3-7, and I don't THINK there were any from Feb 24-28 - but I could be mistaken.

I heard about mine 2/25 and had my actual JS1 this past Friday. That's around the latest that we've heard, though there were a few after me I think.

just finished my interview, so nerve-wracking! around how long does it take after the interview before you find out?

well, i've been waiting almost 3 months, others longer, and some as few as 6(?) days.

basically...there's no way to know.

i imagine that most everyone will have an initial decision within the next month and a half or so.

Yeah, 6 is the shortest JS1-->JS2 so far, according to the spreadsheet (I think there was a large wave after his/her interview), and the average is 25.1.

The fact that the average is 25.1 seems to be a useless statistic, though, considering that none of the people who are still waiting (and have probably been waiting the longest) are counted towards that number.

I went complete in December and only heard about the JS1 that recently, so yeah, waiting through those ding waves was not a fun experience. Gives me #hope though.

Yeah at the end of the day I would almost rather get a straight up rejection than a WL just because I hate uncertainty and want to have my plan figured out. I'm only 5 days in to my post-JS1 wait though so I'm not as antsy as some people here.

Edit: Also, to folks who haven't heard a THING and have been waiting for a long time -- they've had a million chances to reject you. You are still in the running. That's all that matters.

Wow, I'm a mid-Feb complete as well and feeling incredibly anxious. I can't even imagine what all you early applicants must be going through. Hang in there, we'll hear *hopefully good news* soon!

Also, JWP and a few others seem to have been the last JS1 wave around Feb 25-26. Seems to me like we're due for another wave...

complete september and waited 5 months before i got a js1. if this keeps up, i'll hopefully get in by spring semester next year haha.

Ya, it seems like the JS1s have slowed. I'm hoping that means that they've started looking back at holds to see how they compare to each other and the super-late applicants. As posted above, they're getting close to the point when they have to make a decision.
