645 members in the class of 2016 group, so there should still be a lot of spots left!

Class of 2015 seems to be secret/doesn't show up, but Class of 2014 HLS group is just over 600 (probably due to attrition during the three years of law school)

Well if we extrapolate, the FB group is about 65% full, and if we apply that to total admits, there should be about 300 acceptances still to come.

I think last time the FB group discussion occurred, it was pointed out that admits don't actually receive an invite to join the group, but there is a link provided in the admitted students website (pls correct me if I'm wrong). This might lead to some who don't join the group immediately, or others who may not join at all. Although I doubt it's a huge number that would fall under that category, I think they've given out more acceptances than the FB group suggests.

I just want to say that there's only about a month longer until a decision is guaranteed. While it will mean even more waiting for a number of us (WL), it will be nice to hear something.

This is so nuts to think about.

Remember that there aren't only going to be around 600 acceptances though. 850 total and then some people pick YSCC or no law school and probably leave the group... Obviously countering that is that some people don't have fb or don't join, but I think we have a lot more acceptances to go

It's not a great sign, but you also haven't been rejected, so there's that.

So likely you'll be riding out the waitlist (depending on how far below median you are)

So if anything hearing nothing is almost a good sign. You've survived multiple waves of rejections. They want you -- there's something they like -- but they care about medians and need to wait until later in the cycle to see if they can take you. Agreed with James that a WL is likely.

well, i've been waiting almost 3 months, others longer, and some as few as 6(?) days.

basically...there's no way to know.

i imagine that most everyone will have an initial decision within the next month and a half or so.

Yeah, 6 is the shortest JS1-->JS2 so far, according to the spreadsheet (I think there was a large wave after his/her interview), and the average is 25.1.
