Hey guys, had my JS1 last week but my status checker hasn't changed. Can anyone confirm that there is a status change from "interview requested" to "interview complete" before a decision is made?
Also, congrats to all the JS2's yesterday!

I don't believe there's a status change. I'm still complete as of mid-December, despite my February JS1. The latest update I show is still interview requested.herrowww wrote:Hey guys, had my JS1 last week but my status checker hasn't changed. I think mine stayed at "Interview Requested" until JS1, and then it went back to "Complete."

Not a good start to the week: Just had an exam that went horribly, and as I was finishing thought to myself, "OMG Quest, it's okay, what if you got a JS1 during the exam?" While I was turning on my phone I had convinced myself that I definitely received a JS1 only to find my inbox empty except for a CRS e-mail... Double the disappointment lol

So I wonder how many waves left before they'd have the recent JS1s caught up to. Not too many I think....
After that point it'd be look backs and Feb takers, who kind of go hand and hand in that they'll likely be compared to each other.
ETA: On the ding front, last cycle there were several days of rejections throughout this month. It seems like, per LSN, there have been more rejections this year than at the same point last year, so maybe they got some of those waves out of the way already.

Well then was it really oversubscribed if people didn't attend it disproportionately?

If they had admitted more applicants than usual I would've thought they'd account for that when arranging the ASW.luckystar84 wrote:Re drawstring: they could be oversubscribed but still proportional if the usual proportion of an unusually high volume of admits to date went to March. Dean minow said apps are up and ppl at various events just randomly remarked at how packed it was relative to last year, and not in a "what a joy to see everyone here" kinda way. Also they had to add more class visits than originally planned

Although I know it's use is limited, but fwiw in case anyone is interested, the HLS Facebook group jumped from ~400 to ~425 over the last few days (don't know the exact dates).

One of the students told me there were over 300 admits there compared to the record of 240.

Also why would you post about the ASW being "oversubscribed" in this thread unless you're just heartless?
