I'd like an honorable memorial in the OP.

It's probably rude to ask, but does anyone think they know what the median LSAT will be this year? Lawschoolnumbers shows 165, but that seems too low, even in light of the reduced number of law school applications. On the other hand, lawschoolnumbers shows the average GPA being 3.7, which is Wash U's perrenial average.

lol we have a small pool going in the FB group about this, but most ppl seem to think 165-167.Total Litigator wrote:It's probably rude to ask, but does anyone think they know what the median LSAT will be this year? Personally I think it'll be 166 just because that's where they threw the most scholly money earlier in the cycle...but lately they've been giving some pretty generous awards to 167's, some of whom are crazy splitters, so maybe they think 167 is within reach?

Anything but 166 is extremely unlikely IMO

Agreed. They played it smart and went after the 166 mark early. Some schools I feel like tried to go after 167 and now are going to be screwed (Minnesota) though I could be wrong.WokeUpInACar wrote:Anything but 166 is extremely unlikely IMO

In a down cycle like this, that's not a very smart strategyDream Weave wrote:Agreed. They played it smart and went after the 166 mark early. I've been saying 165 since the start, and I'll be surprised if it is anything else. The only other possible number is 166 though.

It's a smart strategy when you jump four spots in the rankings. They knew they were going back up. A 166 is a very realistic number for #19. Minnesota at the same rank went for the 167.lhanvt13 wrote:In a down cycle like this, that's not a very smart strategyDream Weave wrote:Agreed. They played it smart and went after the 166 mark early. I actually don't know what you would argue would be the better strategy. As you go down in points the pool is larger- they knew there would be plenty of 165s.

No not this waitlist. I got a nice scholarship and was set on wustl but decided a couple weeks ago on gw after negotiating scholarships.lhanvt13 wrote:It's all good. You're on the waitlist? Have you tried interviewing ?Dream Weave wrote:^ sorry all these waitlists are getting to me
I am on four others though- and I seem to have a slim chance at all of them if any at all.
