Re: TLS c/o 2021 Applicants Thread
GULC app question (no one in gt thread was able to answer):
There's this optional question which asks:
"give us your top ten list".
What are they referring to? Is it just the top 10 things in the world for us? Top 10 law schools? Top 10 pop hits?

It can be a top 10 list of whatever you want it to be. I think it is purposefully open-ended. It is optional though, so if you don't feel good about it don't respond to the prompt.InterLaw wrote:GULC app question (no one in gt thread was able to answer):

I'm jealous of you kids that already applied! I was feeling good about having my CV and PS ready this past weekend and y'all already getting admitted. Maybe I should get a couple of vacation days to wrap-up my applications once my final LOR comes in.

There's no way you work significantly more than a lot of people in this thread that have already applied. But you shouldn't be stressing, it is still very early in the cycle! Best of luck!makingthemove wrote:I'm jealous of you kids that already applied! I was feeling good about having my CV and PS ready this past weekend and y'all already getting admitted. Maybe I do, maybe I don't. Maybe I'm just a dog on the internet. But yeah, I'm not too worried about it, it was more a comment on how crazy the rolling admissions is. I'm happy for the admitted ones!NavyNuke wrote: There's no way you work significantly more than a lot of people in this thread that have already applied. Anyone else get a fee waiver at Berkeley on LSAC without applying for one or asking?

Am I the only one that didn't think to solicit or wait for waivers?? I just went ahead an applied everywhere in the first 2 weeks of September, whether I had a waiver or not...didn't even know you could ask.

What did you say in your email? I solicited BC about 2 weeks ago and heard back from them the next morning.BronxToBoston wrote:Anybody planning on applying to BC? I solicited a fee waiver a week ago and it's been radio silence.

I just got an email from Pitt Law with subject Heading " My Name, Pitt Law wants you".
I want to feel wanted by a school. Made me want to research the school and even apply.

Re: TLS c/o 2021 Applicants Thread
Has anyone got a fee waiver from BU? I don't really want to apply until I receive one and they already sent me the generic "Wait for CRS emails" response.
Also if anyone from last year received one, what was the earliest it was sent?

Got the same response as you. By contrast, BC and Northeastern replied positively within the hour, which kind of gave me warms and fuzzies about them.soca_dancer wrote:Has anyone got a fee waiver from BU? Anyone having issues with "Session Error"s, LSAC telling you you're opened a second window - when you haven't? This has happened to me (I swear I'm not exaggerating) 16 times different computers, different wifi networks, different times of day. It seems like the only thing to do is wait an hour or two. Anyone experienced/resolved this?

The only time this happened to me was when I closed my LSAC window without logging out.sabraph wrote:Anyone having issues with "Session Error"s, LSAC telling you you're opened a second window - when you haven't? What is your opinion about WHY X essays out of MVPD? I was thinking about NU, Cornell, GULC, UCLA, GWU and W&M.
I have compelling reasons to write one for any of them, but since I'm already sending a lot of addenda I would add them just if they actually impact.
(I am above/far above the 75th for all those schools).
Cheers!
