Hey y'all. Would Notre Dame be considered a peer school in terms of negotiated scholarships? I know it's a lower rank but not by *too* much...

You can try, but I'd doubt it. They generally feed different markets, and UCLA is in that super-regional tier that ND is kind of looking in at.daydreamerxoxo wrote:Hey y'all. Hey yall. Very first post in TLS. My status checker is missing the section that shows the application is complete. I dont even know what kind of sign is this. Any ideas? or anyone on the same boat?

Gawd, I really need them to release the 2nd wave of scholarship notifications already. Can't negotiate among my final four if one of the four hasn't given me anything.

As someone who still has their "complete" section, I can confirm that it's been there.RC_Cola wrote:mine is missing but im not 100% certain it was ever there. i'll take your word for it.richyli1995 wrote: Yup. It just gone missing today.

Does ur status change to In Review or something? Maybe it is UCLA's way to tell us the file is under review. Just my thought.blossomisaloaf wrote:As someone who still has their "complete" section, I can confirm that it's been there.RC_Cola wrote:mine is missing but im not 100% certain it was ever there. i'll take your word for it.richyli1995 wrote: Yup. I'd contact them and ask. I don't think there's any big downside to that!Gitaroo_Dude wrote:Gawd, I really need them to release the 2nd wave of scholarship notifications already. Can't negotiate among my final four if one of the four hasn't given me anything.

+1 -- I'm dubious they'd care. ND isn't a bad school but a different league. You can try though -- if it works, tell us!Gitaroo_Dude wrote:You can try, but I'd doubt it. Just sent in my scholly negotiation e-mail. Really hoping they're receptive as I'm leaning towards UCLA at this point. Here goes nothing...

Withdrew my app so hopefully that spot and some of that scholly money is going back to you all! Good luck to everyone waiting to hear!
They replied to my email wanting to know where I was going and how much money I got there which was a little awkward. I told them I hadn't decided yet, just that I had narrowed down my options (which is true).

That is super awkward. If/when that happens to me (from any school) I think I will reply that I don't feel comfortable providing that information.
