Has anyone filled out the scholarship reconsideration form? If so how long did it take to get notified of the reconsideration?

I have no idea what I'm looking at with the FinAid site that got e-mailed out yesterday.

It's showing I'm still paying non-resident tuition despite getting the tuition exemption waiver last month. I guess the site takes a while to update? Thinking about calling the FinAid office over there just to get a better idea of how to navigate it, but would rather not bother them with something so mundane.

Just got a second financial award information email from UT. I got a merit award, but this second notification which prompted me to see my award posted to my UT account also let me know I got some grants from the State of Texas, FWIW.

I just got an email too. I was kind of hoping for more for need aid, but I'll take what I can get. Did you see your merit award on there as well? I don't see mine.

Select the Year. Go to Status/Requirements. Click "View My Shopping Sheet." I got about 1/3 of my total aid from state grants. Still low for what I expected from UT, though.

Is this found in the "status check" link for admitted students?

Confirmed with the financial aid that this is the correct way to read the in-state tuition deal.

I haven't seen if it's the same form or if there are new stipulations, but I submitted mine in May of last year.

If only financial aid was better at answering questions but I think it's kinda universal thing.

Anyone know about UT's internal scholarships? Like they have one for women interested in promoting women in law. The financial aid office and one of the deans somehow both sidestepped my question -_-

Thoughts on sending an unsolicited LOCI? Had my application submitted back in Nov., but it wasn't complete until January 4th due to LSAT scores. I'm a in state applicant and a URM (MA) with both GPA and LSAT just under 50th percentiles. Starting to sweat due to the lack of response.

I'm visiting at the end of the month to see if I want to engage in negotiations. Does anyone think these would give me a shot to getting SOMETHING? Like at least 45k?

I'm in a super similar situation. Just got offer of $0 this Monday, sent renegotiation on Tuesday with both LOTS of money from WUSTL and a decent offer from a top 10. Curious if anyone has experience, or even a sense of when they might answer!

I've read this entire thread, and asked people at ASW, and asked the fin aid ppl. As far as I know you're the first to submit a reconsideration request.
