Ood's is not an admits-only hypothetical. Sure, the discussions about the timing of financial aid packages à la katthegreat and taxman were more appropriate in the accepted students' thread (I am not sure why anyone would be this up in arms about the discussion being on this thread in the first place though), but questions about "How much will it take?" is something that will help any applicant in terms of deciding when to end his or her application cycle.

I agree that the question has merit for both threads. It's a HYPO I thought about before getting admitted. And I think the posts after pretzel were people who reply without first reading all the follow up posts. It's what I do. I don't think they meant any harm.

However, the atmosphere in the S thread is very tightly wound. I find it very ironic that the same poster that joked about an addmisons officer getting "stuffed" seemed the most upset by an "off topic" conversation.

But yea I'm all for having fun, but this doesn't seem like the place to. Back to the H thread for me.

So I just checked out the timeline graph for applicants on MyLSN, and it showed almost no one who applied in November as having waited this long and still gotten accepted.

At this point should I be hoping for a WL, or am I missing something with the data?

Don't worry, I see a few people on LSN who applied in Nov and got accepted in late March and in April

Why are you still following up on S financial aid if it is as easy as that? Don't you also have multiple full rides outside of HYS?

How much debt are you and your former classmates currently repaying at your biglaw jobs? I can never remember but I know you dismiss and ridicule people who give the advice of taking scholarship money. Maybe you just enjoy trolling- same as making remarks about Columbia dropping 1 point but ignoring the Harvard drop?

I just want to know what your personal experience with debt repayment is so I can decide how to privilege it.
