What's the typical wait between going complete and going UR? I've been sitting on complete for about two weeks now. The spreadsheet says that the typical wait for an interview request is about a month- how long are you UR before the interview request?

Yeah, just saw thanks to your post. This is exciting, maybe it means we won't have to wait until the end of February?ALegalMind_26 wrote:Anyone else UR4 today?

I had a date change today as well, although I thought I already hit UR 4 earlier this month! I hope this means a wave sooner than mid Feb.ALegalMind_26 wrote:Anyone else UR4 today?

Should one send a "thank you" note to the admissions counselor after an obligatory interview or is that excessive?
Thank you for your help.

Sorry this might not be helpful, but in the past when this has been discussed, opinions vary. There are some who say yes it can't hurt, and others who say it's unnecessary and clogs their inbox. Personally? I would send one.Iamdman92 wrote:Should one send a "thank you" note to the admissions counselor after an obligatory interview or is that excessive?

Re: Chicago Law School c/o 2018 Applicants
I tend to send one when I've had some sort of contact with my interviewer beforehand, but don't when I don't even know who my interviewer will be until they Skype call me or whatever. so for Chicago, I didn't. as pylon said though, there are mixed opinions.

Generally, an audio recording explaining how much you enjoyed the interview (and probably wishing them safe travels during the storm) is a pretty good idea as well.Iwanttolawschool wrote:I would. And Definitely include a PDF picture of yourself

Don't really understand the condescending answers. It's an honest question. I think a short thank you email is definitely a nice touch.

Dunno about the first question; my best guess would be your application came after the massive pile that built up during the holidays and it is taking a while to get there between all the interview requests and interviewing, etc.leslieknope wrote:What's the typical wait between going complete and going UR? As for the UR-Interview timeframe, none exists. Interview invites go out in waves and reading through a few pages back, people got them anywhere between 15 and 60 days after going UR.
As for me... Been UR(edit:UR1 for clarification) since 12/19 (complete early December) so hopefully I'll get my interview invitation in the next wave...

Just logged on to the status checker and experienced this (except I'm not UR1 yet). The personal statement, rec letters, etc. have checks, but the CAS report doesn't. How did you resolve this??titusandronicus wrote:My app went UR1 on November 5th, but the CAS Report is still unchecked in my "Requirements List." Has this happened for anyone else? I never received an e-mail notifying me that my application was complete, I just checked the status checker one day and it was listed as under review.

Thanks, man. I appreciate your feedback and apologize if this topic has already been broached. I figured that re-asking would be more efficient than browsing through pages of information, trying to find a needle in a haystack.Winston1984 wrote:Don't really understand the condescending answers. This happened to me - I didn't have to do anything. I skipped from "Application Incomplete" to "Under Review" and got an interview request and completed my interview before they ever noticed the error with the status checker. Around ~25 days after submitting my app I got an email notifying me that I had never received a "complete" notification and this was an error in their system. Hope that helps.radio1nowhere wrote:Just logged on to the status checker and experienced this (except I'm not UR1 yet).
