So, instead of being complete mid-November, I'm complete mid-January. Awesome.
damn, that's a bummer. sorry dude.

here's to hoping they expedite some good news for you!

Has anyone more knowledgeable than me gotten a feel for how they feel about reverse splitters? LSAT=25% GPA=100%.
Been complete since Nov 12 with complete radio silence.

Thanks in advance.
I was on the same (or maybe a similar) boat - LSAT slightly below 50% GPA 100%. The sense I get from TLS, LSN, etc. is that Columbia tends to favor high LSAT over high GPA, more so than more GPA-heavy schools like UChicago, Penn, or Duke. :( However, I think that, with the decrease in app's and all, their LSAT bar is not that high anymore, and with that high of a GPA, I think you have a solid chance this cycle. I heard back the day before yesterday that I was admitted without an interview, so maybe you will hear back sometime soon too.

In this boat as well. My mail is generally very slow (I'm still waiting on a letter I know was sent a week ago...), so I'm hoping that's the case here.

+5 It's alittle strange, since I've received pretty good $ from peer schools, but I guess maybe Columbia just doesn't have the money to offer, so they don't think I'd attend (which I guess is true if they couldn't match, even though Columbia is a top choice...oh well, I'll just hope my mail person messed up)

Does anyone know whether any Hamiltons are given out later in the cycle?

Just looked at the graph and realized a 179/3.97 was waitlisted last year. I guess no one is safe :(

I would assume that this year, given the decline in LSAT numbers, they would hold out some for late applicants with improved LSAT scores. But perhaps I'm just hoping that is the case given my numbers and application date.

no, but they all went out with people's original acceptance letters.

According to LSN there were about 20 people who got Hamiltons in January, February and and even March last year. So obviously not just one wave, and also it would indicate that the timing of acceptance (within reason, obviously if you're accepted in May that may be too late) doesn't rule out getting a scholarship

In addition, considering LSN only shows 6 this year, according to this very small and unreliable sample, between 25-33% of of the Hamiltons have been given out so far this year.

Hello! Long time lurker here.

I got an email today with acceptance+full tuition public interest scholarship. Super pumped, but still waiting on YH.

Good luck to everyone else!

Edit: stats are gpa>75th LSAT<75th.

Wow! Congrats! I didn't even know that Columbia offered specific public interest scholarships!
