Re: Vanderbilt c/o 2018 applicants
Anecdotally, there seems to be a good number of people in my class who made it off the waitlist with pretty reasonable, but not huge, scholarships. A lot of movement happens pretty quickly after the deposit deadline. I don't know anything about rankings, etc, but it doesn't hurt to be in fairly consistent contact with admissions as your cycle evolves.Dulman wrote:Does anyone have statistics/information about vanderbilt waitlist policies? Tell me about it! I am going to the first ASP on March 13 (anyone else going?!?) but I would really like to have an idea of what my financial aid will be before falling in love with Vandy (although it might be too late already, lol)...fa1493 wrote:So scholarships..seems like at this point last year people were already receiving them. Nevermind. I tried and failed haha. I guess I will just have to wait and see.
By the way :

So if you're past 12 weeks, do you e-mail admissions or just give them a little more grace period?

I was around 15 weeks before it switched to "decision mailed", so I would say to give them a little more grace periodPowerHungry wrote:So if you're past 12 weeks, do you e-mail admissions or just give them a little more grace period?
