I feel the wait for scholarships is worse than the wait for a decision! Almost...
Hopefully in three weeks, we'll all know!

Every candidate gets considered for scholly, even if it's not in the email. My letter last year didn't mention it at all, still got scholly 2 weeks later

Congrats =)Homelandsagreatshow wrote:In today!
Assuming that 1. you're softs are within a normal range (no deal breakers as far as LOR's or disciplinary issues) and 2. they're aware of how badly you want to attend (based on your interview), I think it would be pretty dumb for them to reject you outright. Maybe you'll get waitlisted, or you'll have to wait slightly longer for a decision..but again, I would be baffled if they dinged you right out of the gate.wannabelawstudent wrote:Cuse...still thinking I'll get in? I am el worriedo and need constant reassurance....
Last year the "LSAT wall" for WUSTL was 168. If you look at last year's LSN, literally anyone that had a 168+ was admitted, regardless of GPA. I had a 169, which was only 1 point above the wall and a 2.9. Relatively speaking my LSAT was the same as yours in terms of its position from the psuedo-wall (what is it like 166 this year? 165?) and anything under a 3.0 is just a poor GPA. So a 2.9 vs 2.5 isn't a substantive difference. Obviously this is a different year, you're not me, I'm not you blah blah blah..but i'm just trying to explain myself lol
I wish they would just admit you already. It's clear you really want to attend, and I know for a fact that a significant chunk of admitted applicants are gonna withdraw to attend other schools anyway. So it's frustrating for me even as an observer.

I actually just looked at your LSN..you submitted 12/26? And you weren't even complete until 1/9! This is actually a normal waiting period...those of us that heard back in December submitted October or earlier (for the most part). I actually would have been surprised if you had heard back so soon after a late December submission. It's too soon to start freaking outwannabelawstudent wrote:Ok, it still doesn't look like anyone who has applied after me has heard back yet. At least I think...

Fingers crossed for you, bud. I feel like you have the magic LSAT that'll get you in, though. Have faith!wannabelawstudent wrote:I submitted 12/26, but it was xmas break and the LSAC didn't have 1 of my LORS turned in. I know its too soon but everyone talking about how awesome the ASD was is like when you decide to stay in one weekend and everyone's talking about how awesome the party they went to was.

re: your complete date. Yes it's definitely way too soon. For all intents and purposes your application wasn't even ready to review until 1/14 (assuming they held off on looking at it until after your interview). It's barely been 2 weeks since your app became eligible for evaluation, give it time!

It's okay. Maybe someone in admissions is tasked with reading this and will see just how incredibly obsessed you are with attending.

If the adcoms read the lounge, we all might as well pack it in and start prepping for med school, because ain't no way law school adcoms are admitting uswannabelawstudent wrote:Hopefully they don't read the lounge....alwayssunnyinfl wrote:wannabelawstudent wrote:This thread has become my therapy couch.![]()

Edit: JUST KIDDING ADMISSION PEOPLE...there's nothing wrong with the lounge, just trust me and don't check.

Actually, based on my interactions with the adcoms, they'd probably get a good laugh from a lot of it. Or just roll their eyes.bananasplit19 wrote: If the adcoms read the lounge, we all might as well pack it in and start prepping for med school, because ain't no way law school adcoms are admitting us
