Re: BU 2012-2013 Applicants
got what i think is my 5th update today (2/4)
getting a little worried that i screwed up something in my app. submitted the week after it came out in the fall, and people with worse numbers who have applied later have gotten calls. (3.7/166)

The amount of "in via phones" today has led to me staring intently at my phone, willing it to ring.

Submitted 11/2, latest complete was 1/7. Below both medians and want to get the rejection out of the way, it's the last school I'm waiting on. C'mon BU

I glanced over this stuff last night, but didn't see the March date. I know BU and BC both have ASDs on April 4th....are they both the same day in March as well?Xs20 wrote:Will anyone be at ASD in March? Just booked a flight.

They're actually not on the same day in April - BU is the 5th and BC is the 4th. They also are back to back in March - the 22nd for BU and the 23rd for BC.AMilfordMan wrote:I glanced over this stuff last night, but didn't see the March date. I'm currently planning on attending the March ASD for both.

When do you think a January application with auto admit numbers would hear back?

Hmm. The admitted log in page lists the admitted student reception as April 4th. Is this different that ASD? That would explain my confusion.

Could be - I'm looking at preview days: http://www.bu.edu/law/prospective/admit ... eviewdays/. There might be a reception the night before or something?AMilfordMan wrote: Hmm. Re: BU 2012-2013 Applicants
This is the description from the website: "We’re holding two special Preview Days for Admitted Students that we hope you’ll be able to attend. You will participate in a mock first-year class, learn more about student life and career development, tour the Law School and attend a luncheon with current students and faculty members." Sounds like it to me, but I'm really not sure.AlanShore wrote:just for confirmation-- are BU's preview days and ASW the same thing?ks2499 wrote:Could be - I'm looking at preview days: http://www.bu.edu/law/prospective/admit ... eviewdays/. Re: BU 2012-2013 Applicants
I just received an email about "preview days" being March 22nd and April 5th. These must be the ASDs and the night of the 4th is just a reception?AlanShore wrote:just for confirmation-- are BU's preview days and ASW the same thing?ks2499 wrote:Could be - I'm looking at preview days: http://www.bu.edu/law/prospective/admit ... eviewdays/. yeah that's what i thought.. but then i thought ASW are supposed to be a weekend long. ive never actually attended one so maybe some schools make it only one day.ks2499 wrote:This is the description from the website: "We’re holding two special Preview Days for Admitted Students that we hope you’ll be able to attend.
