I went complete at 1/14 and haven't had any movement since. I'm getting a bit anxious that this is a bad sign for scholarship money.

I heard from a pretty good source that last year they went realllllly far into their waitlist. Don't give up hope.

Would any of the Accepted/Wait-listed students care to share their numbers and/or relevant experiences?
I've also been complete since 1/17 and am looking for any info I can get...!

I was wait listed on Tuesday. Surprising because I was expecting an outright rejection because my lsat is way below the median.

Did you apply part time or full time? I applied part time and my numbers are similar to yours except my GPA (3.76) is a bit lower. Wonder if I'll get an outright rejection. Did you have amazing softs? I have like no softs. :-\Mhens wrote:I was wait listed on Tuesday. Surprising because I was expecting an outright rejection because my lsat is way below the median.

Checking back in about this: I sent over an email and was told that 30k is the highest scholarship they have available right now and will be giving out limited full-tuition scholarships mid-Feb. I told them to let me know if any additional scholarship money becomes available/if there would be any fellowships or need aid I may qualify for. I'll let you guys know if there is any newskaf5250 wrote:Do you think Fordham is at all likely to negotiate scholarships given how stingy they usually are? I'm starting to negotiate at some other schools and would really like to see if I can up their offer. Right now I don't have any higher offers but I'm looking at $25,000/yr at Notre Dame (where COL is significantly lower), a scholarship package at Texas that would make COA ~$10,000 cheaper/yr, and an almost equivalent scholarship at GW. Any chance? and any advice as to how to go about the negotiation process, I'm seriously lost ...

I applied for the full time program. I'm planning on retaking in June to try and get off a few waitlists I'm on. Good luck!

I applied part-time because of my LSAT. Hopefully they won't look for work experience. That's awesome you got waitlisted for full time! Best of luck to you!Mhens wrote:babyxballerina wrote:Did you apply part time or full time? I applied part time and my numbers are similar to yours except my GPA (3.76) is a bit lower. I had very few softs too. Just some honors societies and good LORs. The only work experience I have is serving at a restaurant for the past 5 years.babyxballerina wrote:I applied part-time because of my LSAT. Hopefully they won't look for work experience. Thanks. I'm not actually giving up hope, this is just the second school I've been waitlisted at. It's so anticlimactic.T20hopeful89 wrote:reyals wrote:Received a waitlist email today.

So I remember reading fordhams policy on negotiating with respect to Cardozo, but what about with respect to peer schools. Are people able to leverage an acceptance or scholarship from a peer school for a scholly at fordham?

Applied around 12/28. It obviously isn't based on date since there are plenty of people who applied earlier but haven't heard back.baddabing27 wrote:When did you apply? What are weird softs?waitlisted with 166/3.47/weird softs
I say weird softs because some of them are strong and some of them aren't. I havent heard back from enough schools to determine yet.

Not sure what the official policy is but they will negotiate against a full ride at Cardozo with no stipulations and also against no money from T10s.confusedlaw wrote:i am a 1l,

Good Luck! Having a high GPA going for you is a good thing. I was rejected from the evening program (161, 3.0). I know they try to emphasize people who work for this program, but I'm not sure if that is actually considered when they get behind close doors.babyxballerina wrote:Did you apply part time or full time?
