Honestly, it doesn't seem to be very predictable. People with all sorts of numbers are getting all sorts of offers. Not sure why

nice! don't get me wrong. i'm not complaining or anything. i was just surprised they gave me a scholarship. i guess unlike undergrad, law schools don't always do it on a need-base.

Total 22k per year.

Extremely blown away by this. I honestly wasn't expected that much from W&M, but now find myself wanting to negotiate for more. The more I'm offered the greedier I get.

I am getting a little frustrated with William & Mary. I am high on them, but I applied back in early November. I have solid numbers and a number of other acceptances. They are soooo slow.

Hello all. I need a reality check. I had a strangely quick turnaround on my application. Submitted 1/10, complete 1/13, acceptance letter dated 1/23. Given the speed, as well as the fact that I applied for two fellowships, and that W&M gives so much money, I thought that I might be eligible for funding, but the packet contained no scholarship/fellowship info.

The packet came loose, in a USPS priority mail envelope, i.e., as opposed to an official W&M envelope.

Is it totally wishful thinking on my part to hope that I might still receive funding? It would have been in the admit packet, right?

Mine was priority as well and the schooly info was in the packet.

No, not yet. I'm waiting for my other decisions to come in before I say anything one way or the other. The first mailing was the one with scholarship, letter of congratulations, and pamphlets. The second one with the keychain and notepad included a list of fun things they do at W&M, like "bar" reviews. Every week they review a local bar.
