Don't know how it took them that long to give you the call. Those numbers and URM look like auto-admit to me.

No LOCI. Just sat and waited patiently while I heard back from other schools.freemustacherides wrote:Barca10 wrote:170/3.9+/URM Submitted in the middle of January. If you want more info, let me know.Excellent117 wrote:Barca10 wrote:3 months of total silence, and I just received the call!

Is the phone call for all admits? Or do most people get emails?

The waitlist FAQ states that it's best to send in LOCIs during May-August but has anyone already sent their LOCIs? I'm debating whether I should send them one now or after May. I got waitlisted end of January.

I don't remember my letter saying that. I doubt it matters much when you send.Schang1 wrote:The waitlist FAQ states that it's best to send in LOCIs during May-August but has anyone already sent their LOCIs? I applied in early January, and I have heard nothing since (other than an email saying that my application was complete and under review)

That's where I sent mine and received a response. Try Dean Schwartz if you don't hear back. They usually let you know that they received your email and will get back to you. They had a decision for me within a week (more like few days).Geneva wrote:who did u guys email to ask for scholarship award increases? i copied down an email for bhalla@law.ucla.edu and it doesn't seem to exist...thanks:)

Did they increase your scholarship after their 60k offer vs. 120k from NU?tjddk wrote:That's where I sent mine and received a response. Try Dean Schwartz if you don't hear back. Awwww thanks! They did, and were really nice throughout the whole process. They didn't match, but I get in-state tuition and they closed the gap enough where I don't think it would have mattered... cept NU kind of stole my heart in the last few weeks...Unagi wrote:Did they increase your scholarship after their 60k offer vs. 120k from NU?tjddk wrote:That's where I sent mine and received a response. Yes. But try Dean Schwartz (they decide as a committee, anyway, though I'm not sure who's actually on this committee) if you don't hear back or at least CC him.Geneva wrote:

Yeah, at this point we're 99% sure where we're going (SMU with $$$), but still have Gtown, Vandy, and Duke to hear from, as well as potential for money from others that could change the calculus. Mrs. BVest just wants to know already so we can start looking for a house and she can start looking for a job.fingerscrossedxx wrote:Sorry to hear thatBVest wrote:Dinged this evening (also dinged by SLS and UMich today). Re: UCLA 2011-2012 (class of 2015)
Indeed. Same here, but waiting on those last few decisions are keeping me from being able to make the decision final. Plus im international so I need to start applying for study permits and such lovely time consuiming things. I can't be riding waitlists into august no matter how much I'd like to :/BVest wrote:Yeah, at this point we're 99% sure where we're going (SMU with $$$), but still have Gtown, Vandy, and Duke to hear from, as well as potential for money from others that could change the calculus.
