I would wait personally a few more days at least. They are not making decisions until the 22nd anyway. I actually had mine certified so that I would get confirmation that it was received. Even still I am going to call to make sure everything is kosher on the 20th or so.

Is there anyone on the waitlist (or is there anyone who knows someone on the waitlist) that did not receive the reconfirmation letter?

From the language in the letter it did not seem like they are pruning down the waitlist at all. In fact it looks like they have not even really looked at the WL applications yet and are going to do so with the pot of people who send back the interest card. I think everyone was at the very least supposed to get one.

Yeah, after seeing all of these replies, I do think it was just a letter enabling them to see how big their waitlist pool still is. Ahhhh, I just want to know!! Though, I guess it is safe to say that no one will hear anything until after the 20th :/.

So nervous. So the consensus is that we think they are going to start sending out decisions today? I am really curious as to how many acceptances off the waitlist they are in the position to send out...anyone know anything about the second deposit turn out?

Since today is the last day fir the waitlist reconfirmation I would suspect it will be a day or so before they send any acceptances out.

Ohhh, I thought the letter said the reconfirmation must be received no later than June 20....my mistake.

I recall it saying postmarked by the 20th but it is very likely I am mixing up my waitlist letters!

to my knowledge it is through snail mail. I know for a fact that they do not notify through Email...as for a Phone Call, I am unsure.

LOL @ david. I do hope you're right...I live 20 mins from the school and dont see why it has to take more than 20 mins for a decision to reach me. But, I thought I had read on the LLS website that decisions are only sent through the mail. Maybe this applies only to initial decisions and not the WL? Whatever is the case...I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHERE IM GOING IN 2 MONTHS lol. Good luck to everyone waiting and be sure to give us a heads up when/if you hear.

LOL yeah I emailed them and they said for the W/L it's phone or email. I assume this is because they need to know quickly if you are going to accept or not.

The wait is killing me, I really hope we find out sometime this month. I asked them about the timing, and the answer is still anytime between now and orientation.

You can just call and double check...they are really good/fast with updating files.

You guys are stressing me out. Law school admissions is a numbers game. If you do not have the numbers, you will not get in. If you have the numbers, you will get in. I know you all think you are special, but this is all quite simple really. These status checker posts are getting really old.
