Full time. I also am not sure if it had an effect, but on 4/19 I emailed the admissions office a short E-LOCI, but my intent was more just to hear any news rather than persuade them to accept me. File changed IR date the following day

What email address did you sent it to? Straight to dean or just general admin email?

Thx!

I was waitlisted last year. Most of the movement won take place until June/July. One of the deans told me on Monday that they filled about 3/4 of the PT class this year with people who were waitlisted FT applicants.

Interesting. Well that's extremely hopeful because I'm sure they don't accept very many off the waitlist into the full-time program.

Just the general lawadmission email address. I'm curious as well, do you all think out of state apps are more favored or less favored for U of H?

I don't think it is favored or less favored in any way, shape, or form. It would be better if you were a texas resident though! :)

In-state apps are favored due to state regulations:
"Q: How many out-of-state students do you accept?
A: As a state institution, our nonresident enrollment is limited to 35 percent of the student body."

Yes, Instate tuition is better! They also(being a state school) have to take a certain percentage majority of instate residents, but as far as I've seen there is no evidence to suggest they are more or less selective of out of staters as a result. But like so many things, other people know a lot of things that I don't.

Right here. I'm in at South Texas, but am waiting on U of H to make my absolute final decision.

I mailed my enrollment fee April 18th, and it still has not posted. I live in Houston, so I imagine they received it by the 20th. Does anyone know how long it took for their check to post?

They emailed me the day they received it. I would look for that e-mail and if you don't get it within the next fews days, I would call.

I mailed mine on April 15th from Spring and it posted on April 18th. I would call them at least a few days before the deadline so you don't have to dash around to deliver another check. Good luck! :)

I think i'd probably end up going to South Texas if the waitlist/offered admission to Part Time program thing happened from UH, I've got Undergrad loans to contend with that I can only defer if i'm going to school full-time...grr

Good Luck to you and everyone still waiting! :)
