Carolina got outplayed for 40 straight minutes. That would not have changed a thing. I also like how a picture is posted of Dexter Strickland calling him a "god" when he is the team's starting 2 guard and he had exactly 0 field goals in the last two games of the ACC tournament.
Whoa, whoa, put down the Dook-flavored HATERade, buddy. That play took place early in the game, hence, that's why I suggested it MIGHT have changed the momentum in the game. MIGHT. Work on those reading comp skills, pal. Also, I agree with you that Dexter had a shitty tournament, but that's not what I'm referring to, I'm talking about one play over three games. And I'm not sure about this "god"pic you're referring to, but one thing's for sure and that's Dexter is majoring in posterizing pathetic Dookies. Plumlee? Check. Singler? Check. Who's next? Hopefully it's that punk Austin Rivers next year.

I read what you typed just fine. I think it's pretty absurd to suggest that there's even a SLIGHT possibility that one call, even early on, would have changed the momentum of a game that was over 2 minutes in. The "god" pick was posted on the previous page, a few posts above your original comment. And congratulations! You have a starting SG that can jump. It's too bad that he can't shoot a basketball as well as I do, and I haven't played organized ball since 8th grade.

Don't waste your time at Spanky's or Topo.

Yummy unhealthy food: Mama Dip's, Breadman's, Elmo's

Fancy and "Southern Maverick": Trilussa, 411, Acme, Crook's Corner

My favorite Thai: twisted noodle

HANG OUT IN CARRBORO! Get beer at Milltown or a burrito at Carrburritos. PM me if you want more help!

Carrboro is funny, it seems to be NC's "hipster region", but they don't pull it off quite right, so it becomes more of a hippy town.

Be careful with your fightin' words. Carrboro isn't trying to be anything except for Carrboro.

Historically, Carrboro is what makes Chapel Hill cool, and the $ from Chapel Hill is what makes Carrboro exist. Although, the folks in Chapel Hill are starting to move into Carrboro, so the folks from Carrboro are moving to Pittsboro.

John Edwards is my neighbor. He lives in Greenbridge and I see him standing awkwardly outside of it sometimes. Though I guess that is about a block away from Carrboro his moving there is a bit of a sign. A bad sign.

Carrboro certainly has your traditional hippies albeit without the tye-dye. There are some hipsters, but the college-aged ones are more on campus. Carrboro's noise scene is pretty incredible; I'm actually proud of how it whoomphs along. During the summertime I absolutely love taking walks in the heart of Carrboro and seeing the art I can catch glimpses through back yard fences. It's granola to be sure, but not in an affected way. I think I love Carrboro because if you drive through it you hardly even know it's there.

Carrboro is definitely not trying to be a small Williamsburg!

Noone thinks they know it all, fish taco. I just happen to spend a night I was here in Carrboro and that's what I picked up. I mean you can spend one night somewhere and formulate an opinion on the place. I don't claim to know anything else about the area, I just threw my 2 cents in about Carrboro because I spend a night out over there, so I don't quite know why you acting brand new.

Surely they realize how disgruntled people are getting. I'm afraid that if they keep "getting sidetracked" like the lady on the phone said, they're going to lose some really good students to seat deposits at other top schools. I don't mean to sound petulant, but... what of importance could an admissions office be doing other than admitting people? (And awarding scholarships, but I haven't seen any of those go out lately either.)
Good. Maybe that'll free up room for me to get in

For all you admitted types it looks like they have an admitted students website up under admissions. Below is the link:

So I decided I no longer believe in status checkers. I was WLed to william and mary yesterday without my application going past complete in december. Accordingly, despite the fact that my current status is still ready for review I am going to delude myself into thinking they are fawning over my application as we speak. Ah delusions...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
