I should be a pretty easy ding for them. It's just cruel to leave me hoping for an interview this long

More importantly--I think--is that people seem to equate wanting the dings to come, with wanting to be dinged.sims1 wrote:Strongly disagree. This week of silence is killing me... At least SLS dinged a few people this week.
I guess it comes down to whether you view it as sort of predetermined whether you'd be dinged or not; so, you'd just want it sooner, rather than later. It's not that any of us actually want to be dinged, but we'd take the inevitable (under this view) news over silence.

Fewer people waiting for decisions? Are we talking about js1 here? Or js0?lawschool22 wrote:The lack of massive waves from this point forward makes sense when you consider there are relatively fewer people at this point still waiting on a decision.Quest4Knowledge wrote:I was really hoping we would have JS1/2's today, but if not I think we'll see movement next week. I'm very serious when I say that, after the initial disappointment, that Harvard rejection is liberating af.

I just meant that at this point there have been lots of rejections and acceptances, so the pool is smaller. Which means the waves will be smaller for all decisions.Black_Swan wrote:Fewer people waiting for decisions? Are we talking about js1 here? The quickest JS1/JS2 turnaround I've heard of is about 48 hrs. I knew someone who got in right before Christmas a couple of years ago and he had his interview a couple of days before that. I don't think that has happened this cycle, though. JS seems to be taking longer.yomisterd wrote:Precedent on decision a week after JS1?
So possible but improbable?

I'm not optimistic for hearing anything today due to ASW being this weekend, but my fingers are doubly crossed for next week.
