My hold email said to submit stuff by 03/31 and they'll let me know by 04/22 (I submitted in October). Tragically I will probably withdraw by then.

I will be giving up my short-lived CLS spot later this week, so I hope a TLSer gets it! They just let me in too late for me to seriously consider it against my other options.

Has anyone lately been admitted without first receiving an email? Like just find a VCE in their mail box?

Yeah I was just curious, I called and they said they mailed a decision letter and I don't know if it automatically means I am rejected since I didn't get an email first

My heart skipped a beat today...got an email saying that they received some materials that I had sent them. I applied ED, was deferred, and expected a rejection right now. LoL.

Yeah, it's down to Chicago and UVA. Visiting Chicago this weekend for the ASW and then making a decision next week!

Liked UVA's ASW more, so UVA advanced to the final two

It's pretty much CLS vs. NYU because the dream is a DOJ at some point before the career winds take me wherever they may. Chi is just coming across weak for public interest overall even though they're trying to improve it. Yet, I can't quite withdraw....it's just there. I've with from everywhere but those 3 schools and Harvard which hasn't told me anything yet. Which is why I'm in every NYU and CLS thread lately.

Haha no worries, but yeah I'm pretty sure CLS won't beat a full ride and even if they did I wouldn't know until after I have to let NYU know. And since RTK caters to PI even a matched $ amount would still lack the attention and resources. I really do wish I had got let in sooner so I could've fully explored my options, but I'm happy with my decision.

How long did it take you to receive a confirmation email? AKA how long should I wait before calling to check that they received my update?

What does RTK even stand for? I never applied but I keep seeing this acronym. Good luck at NYU though. I'm sure we'll run into each other in some capacity.
