Have ANY URMs received a JR1 yet? Glancing at LSN, it seems those do tend to come later in the cycle, but I've been under review since 10/30 and beginning to lose hope. This thread is killing me.

Cool.. yeah I guess for us he generally says next few weeks... Hopefully that doesn't preclude a pre-Thanksgiving phone call.badwillhunting wrote:had mine yesterday, was 11:32, but that's a bit inflated by the fact that my service was bad, so i had to repeat myself once or twice. but the content of the interview was the same - what've you been up to, why law school, why harvard. i asked him about leg+reg, how and why they developed it, and about reading groups for 1Ls. at the end he told me pretty much the same thing (that the committee will continue to review my app and he would let me know "in the next few weeks")

By way of clarification, did you actually go "complete", or see on your status checker that you are under review? I've seen on this thread that some people get JR1's without ever having gotten a complete email (though, I am guessing they must have gone "under review").

I'm Cuban (what TLS considers to be a non-URM Hispanic) and I got one. Under review 10/20 and JR1 email 10/30, actual JR1 11/6.Laina wrote:Have ANY URMs received a JR1 yet? Does that mean you are WL or rejected? Or can it mean you still might receive a JR1, just in a different round?
(Disclosure: I went complete in early November, no JR1 yet.)
I think the consensus is that it's not great, but that all hope is not lost.

then I got the complete email a few weeks later
and later that day I got the JR1 email.
Can't say for people who got the JR1 email before the complete email.

Re: Harvard 2010!
I got my complete and JR1 emails the same day, 8 days after I went under review.
In other news, I just found out that I need to have my wisdom teeth removed as soon as possible--so now I have an appointment for next Tuesday. It's going to make Thanksgiving a bummer, but at least the narcotics should help with my JR2 anxiety...

While I don't really expect a JR1 - my NU interviewer seemed really nervous.alleyoop86 wrote:did anyone else think JR sounded a little nervous?

Hey guys, this might be a bit ABC for you lot, but how long did it take to go from LSAC sending a completed file to Harvard to going complete? Thanks for your insight!

nah, it's not bad if you're using the right person. I had mine removed last year, and by the next day I was fineracklebelize wrote:I got my complete and JR1 emails the same day, 8 days after I went under review.

Do you guys know of anyone, in the past few years, getting their TS1 before Nov 20th and ultimately getting rejected?

Re: Harvard 2010!
so to clarify, does "under review" on the status checker really mean "complete" and the complete email often means you're actually being reviewed (or are already under review)? or have i misunderstood something?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
