A bit different from the rest of y'all as I am a reverse splitter.
I wish they focused on my GPA!!!!

I think this always happens from past threads I've seen. It's a small school so they are selective. People assume because it's 13th they take more people but that's not the case. Their acceptance rate is on par with most other T14stinafeyclone wrote:maybe an abnormal amount of people applied to cornell this year?

Surprised because almost all of you have numbers that would, IMO, are strong enough for Cornell...which is why I think it's weird...
Did you all interview?? Did you find out via statuschecker or email??
I didn't interview. Got the email then saw someone on here say they saw it via status checker so I peeked at the status checker as well, which was updated.

In via phone call today. LSAT = 75th, GPA = ~25th (below 3.7). I've got a somewhat particular background, though based on what people on here define as super softs I don't think they'd be considered that. Interviewed in Mid-December.

Dinged today as well, LSAT>75th but GPA under 25th so I guess it makes sense based on numbers of others getting dings as well. Oh well, happy with my other options so no point being too down about it. Good luck to everyone else still waiting!

It does seem like Cornell is angling recently to become the Berkeley of the east. Except without the awesome city. Or the weather. Or anything resembling a society outside a Stephen King novel.

Is today's bloodbath over or should I continue obsessively refreshing my status checker?

Here's to hoping they have a significant preference for alumni.addie1412 wrote:The lowest I've seen accepted on LSN thus far has been 3.7034iplaw wrote:Any sense on what the GPA floor may be?

Placed on reserve today with a GPA (barely) >75th from an Ivy and LSAT between 25th and median. Never got any interview.

For those who have been WL/dinged did you guys interview? Mildly worrying over here since I've been UR2 since 12/14 and I haven't been invited to an interview yet

I've got the same dates as you, no interview. Hopefully this means there is no cause to worry for the two of us and that it's typical with the holiday break.Christinabruin wrote:For those who have been WL/dinged did you guys interview?
