Checking in and wish me luck!

I also gave a lecture at an event at 930 that evening so it was application construction until the speech and then editing it in my car until midnight... insane

Re: Yale c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Just checked the FB group size around this time last year (3/20/16) and it seems they were a decent bit ahead of us with 227 members (29 more than the current group has). I also saw while I was on the C/O 2019 thread that their ASW was about a week earlier last year (4/14-4/15), so maybe there is less of rush to get decisions out.AnonHumanPerson123 wrote:PotterOtter = MVP of this thread.potterotter wrote:155 members, 42 invites, 1 admin.Choose89 wrote:Fb pct update?
So, that is roughly 198 members. Earlier, it was estimated that ~20 of those in the group were deferrals/current students/faculty/etc. Overall, 178/~260 offers have been given then? ~88 offers left?

The sweet release of Yale rejection is coming for (about 90% of) us. Why rush? Just enjoy your time on this thread while you still can. Have you heard we have sporadic Latin?

Yeah, actually I've been thinking that this evening or Saturday evening are looking real plausible for the first wave of rejections.pretzeltime wrote:

So ..... is today/tonight (4:30am EST...) the night? Will this be the big reject wave? Or should we wait for their spring break to be over?

Re: Yale c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Maybe? It seems like people have been getting complete emails at 4:30am. On a recent little research binge I went back through last year's thread and found that for the big reject waves the emails came out in the evenings, like 7 or 8pm.Gabriel_is_Satan wrote:So ..... is today/tonight (4:30am EST...) the night? I'd be curious what time the email was sent for last weekend's acceptance.

What are you basing the 15 number on? I have only seen one person in on LSN and only one reported here.potterotter wrote:Based off the website the wave is ~15 people.
Current numbers are 162 members, 49 invited, 1 admin.
