That would be the ultimate prank.

"Yes this is the Dean. Just wanted to call and let you know that your application was so bad that I felt it necessary to personally tell you that you are rejected from UCLA."

If it helps, my undergrad has a good relationship with UCLA, and my advisor said he was told that they were low on apps this year and held off on looking at a lot of people. I don't know what your numbers are, but mine are like 50/50 admit, so he said not to be shocked if I'm waiting until the end. But waiting is never fun, I'm going on three months over here so I get it, but to a lesser degree than you lol.

That makes me feel a little better. I think haha.

I just wish they had a status checker like the other schools so that people can know when their apps were moving through the process.

would a WUSTL offer be successful in negotiating? I heard UCLA really only considers other CA schools and T14s.

Accepted via e-mail! Must say it was completely out of left field though as I had thought they called everyone...maybe I'm not special enough :?

Applied mid January, complete late January, slightly below 75ths. Anyone got an idea of how quickly I can expect a scholarship letter? GL to everyone else!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
