I'm going to consciously change my attitude and just say, whatever happens happens. TLS is a blessing, but can also be a curse. I choose to be ignorant about the matter as I cannot be sure of anything that is going on regarding my application until I receive a decision, and there is nothing more that I can do to change it :-)

Trying to feel the same. I would have been fine waiting until February without TLS, so no use panicking over the passing hours.

Did you any of the following schools?

Columbia University
Duke University
Harvard University
New York University
Stanford University
University of Chicago
University of Michigan
University of Pennsylvania
University of Virginia
Yale University

If you get a scholarship from one of these schools, Berkeley will potentially match it.

Berkeley also offers its own merit scholarships which do not require a separate app; you are already considered for them

Berkeley Law 1L here. (I haven't been on TLS since I got in, but figured I'd pop back in.)

I know a few people who were hosted by 1Ls/2Ls last year for ASW and found it to be rewarding. I think the organization on campus that helped coordinate was called First Generation Professionals (FGP). I think the Admissions Office worked with FGP (vs. students directly working with FGP), but I don't know for certain.

ASW was great! It's what convinced me to come to Berkeley. It was my first time out here as well, but well worth it.

Also interested in this. I really want to go to ASW but I have never been to the Bay area, but I'm hesitant to go and have to pay for a hotel.
I checked airbnb near the law school and there are a few pretty cheap options. A lot cheaper than a hotel would probably be. I'd definitely be down to split a place with you and/or anyone else that might want to join.

Do you know if they plan on doing that again? We haven't gotten word of it yet

Thoughts about if it it's too late in the cycle to apply? Been having a pretty good cycle and wanted Berkeley but assumed I couldn't get it because of a pretty rough GPA. But just got decent $$ at uva so admission plus the matching program would be a dream.

How did you get $ at UVA? I was told March 1 - Unless it's a named scholarship, maybe?
