Now that everything is pretty much over, what are your thoughts on Stanford Law?

Umm, it's the best fucking school in the entire goddamned world. I will be there this fall and am personally just grateful that I get to post in the C/O 2019 thread, where we actually have a real OP in fliptrip. Eat caca and die, Dcc617. Your parents hate you.

It's chill bro, but I was already set on Harvard or Yale anyway. I got my shades on to block out all that shade from CA. Enjoy the earthquakes, hippies.

I personally can't stand Stanford, its administration, and especially its admissions office. I waited patiently for 4-7 months only to get waitlisted or rejected less than a week before May. Seriously, go home Stanford, you're drunk (unless you accept me off the waitlist, then I will love you)

Meh, I mean, this was a total long shot for me. I just wanted to see what would happen. This is what I thought would happen.

I'm totally indifferent to Stanford, because I am super happy with the option I am going with. Grow up, Dcc617. You're embarrassing yourself with this poll.

I will be Seymour Asses from Futurama, and Stanford is my Fry. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? I WILL FUCKING DIE ON THE WAITLIST!

I am a lurker. I may not have even applied anywhere this cycle. My motives for lurking this thread are entirely inscrutable and apparently I have nothing better to do with my life.

Dcc617, stop making every other poll option about yourself. While you are very handsome, your constant narcissism and self-indulgence has become off-putting.

Sent a preemptive LOCI having not heard back since October. Here's hoping it helps.

I sent a LOCI through snail-mail three weeks ago and haven't heard anything back. Should I email them to confirm that they received it?

I had to send them something in the mail, and they updated me. But, I used UPS, so maybe an email would be good just to make sure.

Applied in October and still haven't heard anything.

Planning to email my LOCI soon. Who did you send the email to? Directly to fdeal@stanford.edu? Or to admissions@law.stanford.edu?

As it approaches half a year that my application has been under review, I try to imagine why things are taking so long. Perhaps the committee at Stanford places special significance on the LSAT writing sample, and they've spent the past several months trying to decipher my dreadful handwriting.

Sir, I would challenge you to a duel of dreadful handwriting and feel that I have better than even odds of winning...

I have no clue why SLS hasn't just admitted you yet...everyone else has.

That or they lost my application. That's what it feels like. :( Just happy I'm still in the game.

Hi. I'm wondering if any of you have heard of Dean Deal sending an email asking for updated employment or activities. This happened to my friend this week and I'm wondering if I should send the LOCI or wait it out to see if they even want my updates...

According to last year's thread, on Good Friday the school was open and there were reported admit calls. So it's still possible today, in case anyone was wondering.

That is interesting. I haven't personally heard of that happening before.

When did your friend apply? Do they have any unique circumstances that would definitely need an update (i.e. reported that they were switching jobs when they first applied, or anything like that)?

Status Checker is blank. Red text at the top: "A decision letter has been sent."

No email yet.

Anyone know what the delay between a status update and an email typically is, if any? Or am I waiting for a snail mail rejection letter.. :(

Is there any trick like at NYU where you can log into the admitted students website?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
