Is it possible to get accepted to Columbia Law without getting interviewed first? Or is it necessary?

Just got the email! I'm in! I didn't interview at all, and I was getting worried.
Did anyone get scholarship offers with their acceptance?

They attach a PDF of your letter (addressed to you) to the email, which I assume means they have to send emails one at a time instead of in a mass mailing. So it might be a slow trickle!lawstud24 wrote:Congrats everyone!!!!!are the emails coming in waves or did you all receive it at the same time?
And Jetsfan, yup, radio silence til now. Thanks!

Oh, I remember that last year, if you got a scholarship, they didn't email your acceptance letter in advance. You had to wait for the light blue envelope.bell wrote:Just got the email! I'm in! I didn't interview at all, and I was getting worried.

Between all the decisions coming today from Columbia, NYU, and NU, I'm just desperately refreshing the entire internet, breaking every so slightly each time nothing happens.
I mean... congrats, everyone!

Is anyone continuing receiving acceptance email after 2pm? So nervous!

In! Got the email at 1:51pm. No indication of scholarship and no interview.
I went complete on 10/28. Above 50 LSAT, above 75 GPA.
Awesome start to a short workweek.

I remember reading that as well, though I believe there were a couple exceptions? I don't remember though.fliptrip wrote:Oh, I remember that last year, if you got a scholarship, they didn't email your acceptance letter in advance. Bear in mind, I know nothing of their internal processes, but in true TLS tradition, I will not allow that fact to stop me from speculating with confidence.jetsfan1 wrote:Huh? They probably have a different process pathway for scholarship recipients that makes routes it through a different person before they are mailed out. Since the emails are individualized, they seem to be the product of an especially courteous admissions office admin rather than a systematic procedure.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
