Never went to faculty review. Had been UR since 11/17.emly888 wrote:Recent dings, were y'all part of FR1? Or did decisions for all FR1s come out last week?

I was in the 12/8 UR batch.
I was strongly considering pulling the app to avoid the ding. Coulda/woulda/shoulda.

So, you're telling me there's a chance?1mill wrote:PipKing wrote:+1 I'm in the same boat as you date wise bjack. Sorry to be a debbie downer and love to be wrong, but I didn't see anyone get in through auto admit after FR2 were announced in previous cycles.

I'm waiting on 14 more schools to respond. I've created bookmarks for all the status checkers and open them all at once and go through each one. I do this about 3-5 times a day. Every time a school gives me a decision it becomes easier and easier.ub3r wrote:Even though they said February 27th, I'm still compulsively checking every day

Same. Down to 6 schools now. Though one of my passwords is different for one of the schools but chrome treats each login page as the same page so I have to use my keyboard at some point each timekeosu11 wrote:I'm waiting on 14 more schools to respond. Has anyone who was admitted last Friday (2/6) gotten access to the Admitted Students Portal? It has been almost a week and I am dying to get more info, especially about ASW.

Has anyone placed in FR (1 or 2) submitted a LOCI or a "Why Berkeley" statement? Wondering if it would be beneficial or unnecessary.

From my berkeley waitlist email:sanfran66 wrote:Has anyone placed in FR (1 or 2) submitted a LOCI or a "Why Berkeley" statement? Wondering if it would be beneficial or unnecessary.
"Should I send supplemental letters of recommendation or a letter of continued interest?
Submission of additional materials or a letter of continued interest is not encouraged as these will have neither a bearing on your wait list placement nor on your admission."
