So for everyone who had their 3rd update on 11/29 & those who have already been admitted, would the 29th be the day (assuming they admitted us) they sent out their decision letters? Will be checking the mailbox incessantly, nonetheless.

From my experience, the mailing got sent out on the 3rd update day. After that you are left to the mercy of the USPS gods who determine your fate.

But seriously, mine took about a week because I live in the midwest.

I hear ya. I'm not originally from DC & I love it here. I would enthusiastically attend if admitted.

I would think so. The stressful part is not knowing if they actually sent out a letter, since we're just basing this off of the 3 updates. The 3 updates followed by a decision seems to be pretty consistent (unless you interviewed?), so I'm thinking you're right!

That is 'copy-paste' The same update progression as I had after my interview. I am hoping my letter is in the mail today but I live in UT so I am worried that i'll be waiting into next week.
