I like your optimism. I would love to get some news – if not today, at least by the end of the week. The radio silence from all the schools I applied to is deafening and depressing.

I just noticed this post on B's Twitter. Looked at the 12/14 posts on here and don't see that anyone posted it, at least not on the 14th:

Berkeley really is my dream school. But if I'm going to get dinged I'd love for it to be sooner rather than later so I can move on.

This. Also, I was already dinged once last cycle so to be spurned twice by my alma mater after a lengthy wait will really sting.
