thanks guys for your input on housing.=) i think i'll just put my name on the on-campus housing waitlist, but still look around for apts. I guess I'm a little worried about not being familiar w/ SD area at all, and the potential stress of finding roomates and apartments.

Am I allowed in USD 2014 thread if I put down my deposit but am on five waitlists, and still haven't heard from UC Davis? I know I will most likely attend USD - but with 6 schools left who haven't rejected me - it also doesn't seem like its set in stone...
only if you don't write "hey guys, withdrew today, hope that frees up a space and some money for all of you (losers) who still want to go there!!!" if/when you decide on another school. kthanks. :D

Nope. I don't think I will be saying anything like that. I think USD is a very good school - and anyone who wants to go there has good reason! I did my undergrad in San Diego which is why my heart is set on getting out of San Diego... but I love San Diego, and will survive when my waitlists don't play out. :)

Does anyone know how many classes part-time students actually take each semester vs. full-time? I can't find it anywhere! Thanks in advance

Could've sworn I saw under 11 units somewhere...and 8 or over for financial aid.

...and come to think of it, in the post about flex section in the other thread, I believe the guy said 4 classes was normal and 2 classes was for part time.

Ya, pretty sure part time is 9-11 units.

So I still haven't received my letter in the mail. It will be a week tomorrow and I live less than 5 miles from the school. Do you think they will tell me over the phone if I call? I can't really think of a reason why I wouldn't have received it, unless it got lost or they didn't actually send it out until yesterday. :(

The acceptance letter I got in the mail was postmarked 5 days after my status checker changed...I got it in the mail one day after (SF Bay Area)
That's just cruel! Thanks for letting me know. I guess I'll call on Monday if I don't get anything this weekend.

Officially in! They sent my packet to the wrong address and my parents were out of town. Talk about a long week! Good luck to those still waiting!

For those of you admitted off of the wait list, did your status checker change while you were in re-review?
