You take a tour with someone who is part of the admissions staff. You can ask her questions afterward.anni wrote:This is probably a stupid question but if I decide to make a visit, does this just need to consist of a tour? or do I need to actually set up an appointment to meet with admissions staff? Their website says "Members of the admissions staff are available to speak with prospective applicants..." so I wasn't sure. Thanks!!!anni wrote:WAITLISTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has there been any movement on the waitlist? UH had the 4/15 deposit deadline, yeah?

Not for me. The website says they normally don't start reviewing waitlisted applications until the end of May to the beginning of June.

That is so. cruel. I'll have a $500 seat deposit due then for CU Law, and will definitely need to secure housing by then. >.< I will be out major cash if I get scooped up.Mce252 wrote:upfish wrote:Has there been any movement on the waitlist? UH had the 4/15 deposit deadline, yeah?

My story thus far: App received 2/7, IR 3/3, 4/20, and 4/22. I feel as though they're looking for a splitter so that my reverse splitter stats won't hurt them too much... sighs* Here's hoping.

yeah but my stats are dismal and are immediate rejection worthy. 155, and 2.7. I dont know why they haven't rejected me yet.

Well, there is a 0-25% group that needs to be filled. Maybe you're bringing something to the table that is causing them to give you a deeper consideration.merc280 wrote:bgreen89 wrote:My story thus far: App received 2/7, IR 3/3, 4/20, and 4/22. Or, maybe they're too lazy to send out rejection letters immediately after they made their decisions so you (we) are in the next batch to be dispersed lol.
Either way, at least we've been in the running for this long.

That 0-25 percent group is primarily filled by splitters.
