Darn. On a side note, am now convinced that law schools deans get a kick out of the unexpected, usually early morning, phone call (see: UCLA law).

Are we 100% sure that LSAC automatically sends out new reports for grade updates like they do with LSAT score updates?? Assuming my speech prof isnt an asshole, looks like I will have a nice 3.94 for this semester to send Stanford

did you get a A- or something? I hope to get a 4.0+ for the first time ever. But that's grad so probably no one cares.

Yep, but it was the kind of A- to be proud of. It was in an upper-division genetics course. Pulled off a miraculous 88 on the final(class avg. was 59 and high was 91).

Those schools without +'s or -'s would have thrown a B on the 88, killing transferring or applying to grad school.

The the 91 is out of line for an A-. That's like high school where 93 was an A.

Contemplating doing a campus visit in January to see everything, get some material for a LOCI if necessary, and possibly give my application a miniscule boost. Who want to come with??

I guess the cut off for A- is 92. Sucks though. Shoulda've rounded it to an A.

I called my prof, who I'm friends with so this wasn't confrontational, and asked him why I had an A- and not an A and he informed me that he did not give As for this class...... whhhaaa??
