Maybe they're just waiting a few days after the decisions are sent out to change the status...

By "is it common" I meant lets have a conversation about other schools who we do know about...

Does anyone know anything about a Teach for America scholarship at NYU? Read about it on the website and it said to check the box on the app or whatever- but the app doesn't say anything about it.
Emailed them but got no response

Duke changes theirs to "decision made; watch for email."
Texas stays the same.

Some schools don't
More commonly the status may change after a phone call is made or email/letter sent
But theclient has a point: schools are so different we couldn't guess for NYU

Yeah but Georgetown doesn't have an Under Review status. Duke's does have an Under Review and it changes to Decision Rendered the same day as the email gets sent out. I'm basically wondering if any school has Under Review as the last status update. None come to mind.

Chicago and WUSTL put me in review, at least I have that to make me feel better. I swear I got way too excited about the potential this week held than was healthy.

1L here studying for exams, wanted to wish good luck to everyone applying, hope you can join us next year. It's a lot of work but the profs and your classmates make it a good experience.

Thank you for popping in with well wishes! I sat in on Epstein's contracts class and really enjoyed it! He quoted both Gershwin and [Cole] Porter that day, which I certainly appreciated as a musical theatre fan.
Good luck on your exams!

Oh that is AWESOME! My high school show choir did a Cole Porter show! It was... De-Lovely.

Love it. A native Hoosier, I particularly loved the Cole Porter reference. And I love that you were in show choir; there should be more opportunities after high school to sing and dance in an ensemble.

People, I need your advice. I submitted my application on October 30, and I'm still being processed even though I'm ED. Is this highly unusual? Should I give them a call? I didn't notice until today, as I haven't been checking my status thingy (the status thingy makes me anxious).

I would always call rather than not. If something is wrong it could be a game changer to sit around and not contact the admissions office. It can't hurt to ask.

I'm ED and it took me almost two months to go under review after submitting in late September.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
