Damn, checked my status right now and it updated to "File reviewed, no decision reached" from "Decision pending", still has the 11/30 date which was my pending date. Anyone else???

Ok ok maybe, just maybe, they decided to change how they word their statuses and it's the equivalent to the previous "decision pending" and it isn't a negative thing at all......AND we will be accepted on Tuesday.......

I'm out-of-state. I'll PM you my numbers. I was also wondering if it had to do with character and fitness for me? I didn't have anything serious, just a few citations when I lived on-campus (I went to a really strict school). I just remember that they required applicants to send official reports from Deans' offices, so maybe they care about that stuff more?

Ugh yeah, that stupid official documentation stuff held up my application going complete for a month. Mine was dumb though and very very minor.

I used my regular one.. but it was closer to 3 pages and sort of academic (how the stuff I've done at school built upon my interests...)

Yeah When UF adcoms read my initial PS to help me out-- they told me to use it as a DS or scratch the whole thing (I transformed it into a DS). They said they weren't interested in that-- they wanted to know solely about my academic achievements. It'll be okay though, I'm sure you're still a strong applicant!!

Would you choose UF over Illinois?

I hate to be the one to say it, but I think it may be bad news. Mine says the same thing with the date of 12/7. My numbers are 2.81/158. But I guess we can hope for the best.

So it looks like everyone that still had "pending final decision" is now "no decision reached" .. It has to be a wait list. I don't think it's anything to freak out about .... yet. But we probably won't hear anything until at least after the holidays - if not March or April.

Mine says "no decision reached" too and I was like WTF? Must check TLS. I wish that if this is a waitlist, they would have just said "waitlist". It makes it a whole lot easier to know what's going on. Plus, it would end the speculation misery.

Would you choose UF over Illinois?

Nope, I'm 99% sure I'd pick Illinois over UF (despite being raised as a Gators fan), but I'm a UF law legacy so my family really wants to see me get accepted and move back to FL (I didn't mention legacy in my application though). The only schools I might pick over Illinois are UT or SMU; I'd really like to stay in TX. It'd still nice to be accepted to UF just to have that option though. We'll see what happens, I'll probably end up sending them a LOCI.

Did the exact same thing and was in the first round of acceptances. I don't think it's has much of an impact if any at all, you're all good

Called, the AO said that it means exactly what it says, it has been reviewed and they are waiting to make a decision. However, she added that there is no negative connotation to it at all without being prompted, so we got that going for us.
