Anyways, I have decent alternative options and am really happy for you all!
Don't lose all hope. I applied when they opened the application in October and just heard today, so that was almost a 5 month wait. Also, in case anyone cares, I sent in a LOCI last week, so that may have helped.
Did you snail mail or e-mail your LOCI?

I know that UNC gives special consideration for in-state applicants, but i was wondering if there are any differences in scholarship money for in-state vs. out-of-state. I know the university of arizona's scholarships are based off percentage of cost, so out-of-staters receive more money but it equates to the same percentage off the cost of tuition. I'm hoping Carolina is similar, I'm in with a 3.6 and 162. CA resident. With a good offer, UNC is my #1 choice. Thanks

Complete 12/19 OOS
165, 3.7, with intense upward trend. Serious Why UNC essay, good volunteers.
Still nothing. What more could I do?
I wonder if they waited for the FAFSA results to see how many/what other schools we applied to.

Hey all, I'm new here.
Still waiting for a reply, got an email that it was still in committee...I wonder how long that takes?
Really nervous, I got a fee waiver, people keep saying thats a good sign, but my LSAT is lower than the average on this board, but my GPA is one of the highest? Ugh. I have no idea where I stand.
Just keep waiting it out I guess!

Please do.
A small amount would seal the deal for me. I have a feeling I will need to deposit at my 2nd choice April 1st. I guess a great place to be considering the alternatives.....................Go Heels! (or screw em, not sure yet).

I am seriously terrified of my mailbox after no email on Friday afternoon. I am also expecting mail from BC today. I might have to turn to TLS for support in about 3 hours.

I'm sorry to hear that. I keep telling myself that based on last year there is another round of accpetances before April, but it is likely wishful thinking at this point. I was classified as in state, but my mailing address is out of state, so I will likely get my bad news later than everyone else.

I wonder what percentage of applicants who've been complete for a reasonable amount of time have received decisions. Still nothing in my mail.

after 12 weeks of completion i feel like i'd be justified in putting in a phone call. has anyone done this? i mean i don't want to piss them off but at the same time i feel as though there must be a decision on my application and they just haven't told me.

Still nothing here, either. Anyone else enjoy watching Duke pulverize UNC over the weekend?
