Nah... I think the forgotten literally just went months (like 5 months or so) with no word at all from CLS.

Hold and forgotten are not the same. If you've gotten held, you're not forgotten.
There were some of us waiting 5+ months for notice.

Texas, my guess is that yours is coming, based on your phone call. It's only 3:40 on the east coast.

Your stats aren't bad, even for Columbia. I bet you at least got a hold.

I still wonder what the difference between a hold and a forgotten is. I would have assumed that if we didn't get a decision yet, we were basically still being considered. So why is it that some of us who applied in the latter half of the cycle have gotten held, while some who applied at the very beginning have heard nothing?

Would be interesting to know the answer to this...

also wondering what the dif between a hold and a ed deferred is?!

ED deferred this year I believe is a lot worse than hold. No one from ED got rejected, according to TLS, so pretty much absolutely nothing special about being deferred.
