I had an early Jan JS1 with a Dec invite.

I didn't think it went terribly, but I was in pretty bad shape as it started at nearly 2am for my local time ans I had been busy with plans for both a 2.5 month backpacking trip and sending a bunch of stuff back home to the States.

Do you mind sharing who interviewed you?

I'm really confused...I've been under review for 5 months with no JS1 invite and no updates whatsoever. I'm not getting in without a JS1, so I feel like I should've been rejected a long time ago. Is anyone else in a similar situation?

There are definitely some others!
I know it's a long and frustrating wait--try to just hold out and keep your head up.

People get JS1s on the waitlist. It's still a possibility.

https://blogs.law.harvard.edu/admission ... dest-part/

There are many of us in purgatory, waiting to be compared w/ the complete applicant pool. Sorry about the dings, y'all. To echo everyone else, we will all be at great schools this time next year, and this admissions season will be a distant memory soon enough.

you think she accepts everyone she interviews personally??? So then is there a hierarchy or a meaning behind who you interview with. Or are these just the musings of an obsessed JS1er

Me too. Something about the fact that it's a Friday AND the last day of the month gave me even more hope that today would be a big day
