I was rather wondering if it was email or the actual envelope.

I was rather wondering if it was email or the actual envelope.

It was email - no envelope yet, I'm guessing it will still be a few days for those that don't live in/near NYC.

Immediate revision: I just went and checked my mail, and sure enough there was a VCE. So it seems they send them out on the same day they send the email (since I got the email yesterday, and I live in the city)... expect them within the next couple days or so. although fwiw, the contents weren't that exciting - just the same letter as in the email, and a tiny bit of info on enrollment/housing/ASDs.

on a side note, does anyone know how long it takes for them to send financial aid info? I heard that if there's no mention in the acceptance letter, then you probably didn't get anything... I wonder if it would be worth trying to use a 25k dean's scholly from NYU to negotiate? Although considering I was on hold at CLS, I'm guessing I'm not exactly a high priority in their eyes.

Well I've actually changed my phone number since I applied, so honestly I wouldn't know if they did try to call me. But I definitely got an email, so it seems like it would be a little redundant for them to do all three (call, email, snail mail).

Thanks, Stig! And sorry about the HLS reference... I knew darn well it was CLS since that's one of my considerations too.
On hold at HLS in Jan, submit in late Oct. Thought I'd put it behind me, but it is now obvious I'm having issues.....
