does the letter I have to sign about financial aid (listing scholarship money and suggested loans) mean that they are not upping their ante in terms of scholly negotiation?

I don't think so. I'm sure they will at least reply to our requests in some way. I'm going to send a follow-up if they don't get back to me today though

Well, fellow WUSTL applicants, it's been real but I have to withdraw. Good luck to everyone going to WUSTL in the Fall, and be sure to explore areas of St. Louis outside of the law school neighborhood. There's some good stuff out there.

On the up side for some of you, I just potentially opened up a spot and scholarship money (hopefully).

I did by mail (for another school, not WUSTL) because I figured that someone would actually have to open it.

Meh. I think either gun hard and do it immediately after they put you on the wait list or work on it and do it the day of or day after seat deposits.

Is anyone considering putting down the deposit and likely withdrawing without a scholarship increase? As deadlines near, I really want WUSTL to be a possibility, but right now it's just not because of COA.

If I do opt to put down the deposit in hopes of an increase and then they don't increase, is it an absolutely no strings attached refund so long as it's before May 1st?

Ya I didn't mind that, I actually found it entertaining, I'm about midway through PLS right now but was at work and thought I'd start the CD for some passive listening. The guys voice is borrrrrring.
