Re: Washington and Lee
I went DR on 1/13 with above 75% stats. It seems that 1/13 is a WL/Reject batch. I can't figure out what's going wrong with my files. Since I've been admitted to higher ranking school with $s, I'll withdraw if it's a WL.

Re: Washington and Lee
Did anyone who got the DR on the 14th get anything yet? am I the only one with the 14th, that'd be weird. Fully expecting a waitlist though, GPA above median LSAT above 25th but below median. Anyone know how the W&L waitlist operates? Do they use it pretty sparingly or do they tend to pull a lot of people off? This will be my 5th waitlist, so I'm hoping one pulls through!!! GL for those still expecting decisions, sorry for the WL and rejections but something will pull through. Congrats to admits!

Re: Washington and Lee
From looking through past posts:
Decision Sent (1/13 Batch): Waitlisted (out of all reported results)
LSAT Range: 163 - 164
GPA Range: 2.5 - 3.72
Decision Rendered (1/14 Batch): One reported waitlist
LSAT Range: 164 - 167
GPA Range: 2.6 - 3.48
Decision Sent (1/15 Batch): Unknown decision
LSAT range: 164 - 169 (URM 160)
GPA range: 3.4 - 4.0
Application Complete (1/15 Batch): Unknown decision
LSAT range: 163 - 168 (URM 155)
GPA range: 3.1 - 3.9
I think the DR 1/15 batch are acceptances/auto-admits and the application complete 1/15 batch made it to round 2 of review.
Or better yet, the application complete 1/15 batch is being held over to be considered for scholarships.

My guess is that these groups are the same. My decision letter was sent 1/13 according to the checker but says Decision Reached 1/14...same group/batch sounds about right...fkaKingsCollege wrote:From looking through past posts:

My LSAC GPA is 3.02 with a UGPA of 3.54. I went DR 1/15. The outline above doesn't show that, just so you know if you want to capture eerything.

I'm assuming you're part of the 1/15 but still app complete batch? I'm part of that one. 164/3.75...I feel like I'll be WLfkaKingsCollege wrote:From looking through past posts:

Re: Washington and Lee
I'm certainly hoping the DR 1/15 batch is acceptances but there definitely are outliers in the 1/13 and 1/14 batches - people who you'd think would have made it in. Guess we'll just have to see. I'm DR 1/15, 169/3.3.
It might help to have the numbers listed above for the different batches broken down into individuals' stats.

Still at the App Complete 1/15 changeover (was originally app complete sometime in November) and nothing's updated on the checker since then. >>> Non-URM,169/3.66

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I haven't seen any movement on my status checker since I went complete on 12/11. Anyone else in the same boat?

Not sure what your reasoning is there, given your numbers. Are you basing that just on your LSAT score?ntzsch wrote:i am DR 1/15. 164 and 3.88
edit: i wasn't complete till around mid-Dec IIRC
i feel like DR 1/15 will be a mixed batch. some are auto-admit like, but your boy is about to get a WL, 85% sure.

There are some rejections mixed in too. I don't know what dates, they're just on LSN.

Full rides off the waitlist? I may have to re-think my "withdraw from any waitlists" plan...ruleser wrote:It was for more like 167s to 169s.LSATfromNC wrote:Last year at the very last minute they handed out Full Ride's to 165 or 166's (can't remember which) that were on the waitlist via email, basically first to commit got them. Those full rides went to people who got waitlisted mostly because of YP. Dont think that someone who got waitlisted because they didnt want him got called back and offered a full ride... I highly doubt that was the case for many people.

Re: Washington and Lee
It's still not a horrible idea of sitting on a waitlist if a scholarship (even if it is unlikely) could sway your decision. If you're definitely not going - withdraw. But I know of some people that actually did get substantial scholarships off of the WL at some other schools.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
